Collins World is a high-population, non-agricultural and industrial vacuum world, with a billion or more sophonts in population size, warranting hazardous environment precautions.
- As an industrial world, this planet has well-developed manufacturing and processing industries. Manufactured goods are a major export item.
- It is unable to produce quality foodstuffs and must import them.
- This is a "Puzzle" world designated as an Amber Zone. Caution is advised since the world has an environment, laws, customs, life forms, or other conditions that are not well understood and might be a danger to a visitor.
- It is a client state of the Third Imperium in the Eakoi Subsector of Reaver's Deep Sector.
- This world has a nearby Imperial Naval Base, capable of handling warships.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
This systemis part of the Drinsaar Loop.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Non-canon: This small airless world was originally a Reaver stronghold. It later turned legitimate and became an Imperial client state in return for letting the Imperium maintain a base in the system. Protected by Imperial ships and given preferred trade status, Collin's World prospered and increased in population to the point where the resources of the system were strained to maintain it. To help support their system they maintain mining facilities on Brandon (Reaver's Deep 1632) and Banff (Reaver's Deep 1831).
