Subsector Summary: 1105[edit]

Capella, subsector N of Solomani Rim contains 25 worlds with an estimated population of 138 billion, a per capita income of Cr8,009, and a total economy is BCr1,105,372. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr19,120 through 23 starports (18 Class A, 1 Class B, 4 Class C, 0 Class D) employing 2,847,185 people. Driving this interstellar trade are two Agricultural (Ag) worlds, four Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, two Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, four Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, three Rich (Ri) worlds, and one Industrial (In) world. The governments in Capella maintain five Naval bases, and four Military bases. The average technology level is 11 (with most between 8 and 14). The highest technology level is 14 at Twylo (Solomani Rim 1034), Mirabilis (Solomani Rim 1332), Sequoyah (Solomani Rim 1337), Teucer (Solomani Rim 1435), Saxe (Solomani Rim 1437), and Aquitaine (Solomani Rim 1439).

Capella, subsector N of Solomani Rim contains 35 stars and 264 identified planets; 19 monostellar systems, three binary systems, two trinary systems, and one system with four or more stars. 23 of the 25 systems (92%) have native gas giants. There are two Asteroid (As) belts, no Desert (De) worlds, three Garden (Ga) worlds, three Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, three Poor (Po) worlds, two Vacuum (Va) worlds, and three Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.

Capella has an estimated population of 138 billion distributed across nine High population (Hi) worlds, five Moderate population (Ph) worlds, three Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, two Low population (Lo) worlds, and one Barren (Ba) world. The highest population worlds are Twylo (Solomani Rim 1034), Polyphemus (Solomani Rim 1537), and Saxe (Solomani Rim 1437). The population consists of 2 sophont groups including one native sophont.

Solomani Confederation[edit]

The Solomani Confederation has jurisdiction over 24 worlds with an estimated population of 137 billion, a per capita income of Cr8,047, and a total economy is BCr1,102,560. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr19,091 through 22 starports (17 Class A, 1 Class B, 4 Class C, 0 Class D) employing 2,841,925 people. Driving this interstellar trade are two Agricultural (Ag) worlds, three Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, two Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, three Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, three Rich (Ri) worlds, and one Industrial (In) world. The governments in Solomani Confederation maintain four Naval bases, and four Military bases.

The Solomani Confederation has an estimated population of 137 billion distributed across nine High population (Hi) worlds, four Moderate population (Ph) worlds, three Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, two Low population (Lo) worlds, and one Barren (Ba) world. The highest population worlds are Twylo (Solomani Rim 1034), Polyphemus (Solomani Rim 1537), and Saxe (Solomani Rim 1437). The population consists of 2 sophont groups including one native sophont.

Third Imperium[edit]

The Third Imperium has jurisdiction over one world with an estimated population of 600 million, a per capita income of Cr4,686, and a total economy is BCr2,812. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr29 through 1 starports (1 Class A, 0 Class B, 0 Class C, 0 Class D) employing 5,260 people. Driving this interstellar trade are no Agricultural (Ag) worlds, one Non-Agricultural (Na) world, no Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, one Pre-Industrial (Pi) world, no Rich (Ri) worlds, and no Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Third Imperium maintain one Naval base.

The Third Imperium has an estimated population of 600 million distributed across no High population (Hi) worlds, one Moderate population (Ph) world, no Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, no Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population world is Sarpedon (Solomani Rim 1533). The population consists of 1 sophont groups.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

Capella has the Near Boötes Cluster: twelve habitable worlds within three parsecs of Vantage. The unusually rich group was settled immediately upon discovery, early in the history of the Rule of Man. The Near Boötes Cluster dominates the adjacent subsectors of the Confederation, both economically and politically. Boötean mercantile interests have considerable power in the Solomani Party and the Solomani government.

  • The environment of Vantage is unique. Its atmosphere, too thick for humans near the surface, is breathable at high altitudes. Unlike Banasdan's Altiplano (Solomani Rim 3017), Vantage has no mountains, and the population lives almost entirely in the air, in cities supported by grav generators.
