Starships are designed with the Classic Traveller format, using High Guard Shipyard v1.13 written by Andrea Vallance. |
The Burke class Destroyer Leader is a light warship.
- It is a military ship and a Destroyer Leader.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
The Burke class Destroyer Leader is a nimble and strategically flexible warship. They are streamlined for ocean refueling if need be, with scoops and refineries. They are short of power and therefore suffer from no agility, despite their 6-G acceleration.
- They rely on a compact meson gun spinal mount and forty triple missile turrets to destroy enemy shipping. They have close to the same offensive punch of the larger cruisers, but this design is lacking on defense.
- They have a pair of launches, two Attack Speeders and two G-carriers to support Marine operations. They carry a small Marine detachment for security and boarding actions.
- It has a 123 sophont crew and 24 marines.
