The Brilliant class Scout is a fairly common TL–11 exploration and scouting starship used by the Enlightened.
Description[edit]
It is an streamlined, saucer fitted with fuel scoops for ocean refueling. They carry enough fuel, internally for a single Jump-2, with a Jump-2 reserve for strategic withdrawal. They can carry drop tanks with an additional Jump-2 as needed. They are fitted with a Model/5 fib ship computer. Despite the massive drives and power plant fitted, which accounts for most of their construction cost, they have some power left over for 2-Agility. They are capable of 4Gs of acceleration and the computer's power demands reduces the agility.
- This ship is armed with one triple missile turret and one triple beam laser turret.
- It has a crew of 6.
