Non-canon: Blackhawk Enterprises, LRC. In antebellum times, Blackhawk was a major supplier of arms and mercenaries to DoD worlds located on the Imperial border with the Zhodani or the Vargr. It also acted as a headhunter service for skilled military professionals to fill job openings in planetary or colonial militaries. Since the Collapse, the Regency mercenary market has collapsed, and the demand for personal armaments has also declined. Blackhawk has diversifyed into a mainstream armaments corporation, but since competition for Regency military contracts is tight, it has branched into non-lethal systems, logistics and personal security services as well. BE has also been very active in the Spinward Hinters and other regions BTC, in its traditional roles. The company is infamous as a minotaur, and has an excrutiating chain of subsidiaries scattered from the Marches to Yiklerzdanzh. Blackhawk maintains its main office on Rhylanor, but delegates its decision making process (within limits) to local subsidiaries.
