Arlim Dusiru has both an unbreathably thin atmosphere and a lack of surface water making habitation by sophonts difficult. The system has a population between 10,000 and 10 million, lacking the industrial base to be completely self-supporting. It is a member of Third Imperium in the Remnants Subsector of Dagudashaag Sector and in the Domain of Vland. Arlim Dusiru, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial knight, a member of the Imperial Nobility charged with overseeing the world. This world has a nearby Imperial Naval Base, capable of handling warships. During the Long Night this world was named Kuudip.
Astrography and planetology[edit]
Arlim Dusiru is a member of the Dagudashaag Main. The naval base hosts elements of the 190th Fleet.

History and background[edit]
Arlim (as it is known locally) despite its small size has a breathable atmosphere which has encouraged a wave of colonization between 1110 and 1115. The majority of the population are the new generation of small-holders, mixed with the naval personnel. The small, but modern and well-equipped starport of Lundevkam rests beside the only major body of water on the planet.
The world's name is an Anglic corruption of the Vilani dusiru (Anglic: dusiru) meaning pearl. Entirely the name is translated as "small pearl". Arlim is a world with great natural beauty but no real mineral wealth.
