Ardi is a non-agricultural, pre-industrial, moderate population vacuum world, which warrants hazardous environment precautions, with over a hundred million, but not yet at a billion sophonts in population size.
- Life in a vacuum requires great discipline. After all, it only takes one forgotten seal on a vacuum suit to spell death. Those who survive tend to be very methodically-minded and attentive to small detail.
- It is unable to produce quality foodstuffs and must import them.
- It requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society. The need to import most manufactured and high technology goods drives the price of these goods up in the open market.
- Its economy and population are slowly growing and living conditions are expected to improve in the near future barring outside forces.
- This is a cold world with an overall climate that is at the lower temperature range of human-congruous sophont endurance.
- This world is also the overall capital of an interstellar government with the massive extra trade and prestige associated with that role.
- This is a "high technology" world with technology achievements at, near, or over technology standards for Charted Space.
- It is a member of the Shukikikar League in the Tri-Empire Subsector of Glimmerdrift Reaches Sector.
- This world has a nearby Naval Base, usually associated with military starships.
- This world has a nearby Military Base, usually associated with military ground forces.

History & Background / Dossier[edit]
The Mische Conglomerate trade route to the former Shukikikar League and the Third Imperium passes through Ardi.
World Starport[edit]
Ardi has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
- The starport at Ardi includes a high port and planet-side port. Refined fuel is available, but repair and maintenance services are limited. All shipyard capacity in this system is for local and mostly military use.
World Technology Level[edit]
Ardi possesses a Technology Level of TL–13 or TL-D in Hexadecimal Notation.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Holovideo recorders.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Miniature super-batteries, prototype collectors, advanced fusion plants.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land, Water & Air: Personal G-Tubes and advanced gravcraft.
- Space: Advanced interplanetary spacecraft (System Craft).
- FTL: Jump Drive-4.
World Government[edit]
Ardi is governed by Self-Perpetuating Oligarchy. A single family or small group provides the leadership and important positions in the government. These positions are inherited by member of the group or their family members. The organization may be monarchy, with titles passed to family members. Or a plutocracy where inheritance of the family fortune includes government position. Or the organization may be more typical organization with positions of power inherited.
World Military[edit]
The shipyard builds the Ardi Class Battle Riders which are part of the Shukikikar League's space navy.
- The SLF Naval Base is co-located with a Military Base.
- Planetary and system defense forces include:
- 18 SDB squadrons (72 System Defense Boats)
- 6 Orbital defense platforms
- 18 Space fighter squadrons
- 6 Armored brigades
- 10 Mixed brigades
