Subsector A of Phlask Sector, within neutral space.

Description (Specifications)[edit]

The vast majority of the subsector population -- 70 billion out of slightly less than 75 billion -- are at Hollerith. The remainder are almost entirely at Teria and Thirle.

The native Minor Race, the Vicarii, are at a stone age level of development. The subsector's Humans discourage visits that might disturb the 40,000,000 locals. Similar protection is provided for the regressed Human population of Moundeson (Phlask 0205).

The rich agricultural worlds of Darkmage and Lahbro provide food for neighbouring Hollerith's vast population.

Subsector Summary: 1116[edit]

Aphlaz, subsector A of Phlask contains 16 worlds with an estimated population of 74 billion, a per capita income of Cr10,098, and a total economy is BCr751,918. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr1,382 through 11 starports (3 Class A, 1 Class B, 5 Class C, 2 Class D) employing 199,520 people. Driving this interstellar trade are three Agricultural (Ag) worlds, three Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, one Pre-Agricultural (Pa) world, two Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, one Rich (Ri) world, and two Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Aphlaz maintain six Scout bases, and one Naval base. The average technology level is 7 (with most between 3 and 10). The highest technology level is 14 at Hollerith (Phlask 0502).

Aphlaz, subsector A of Phlask contains 21 stars and 174 identified planets; 11 monostellar systems, five binary systems, no trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 14 of the 16 systems (87%) have native gas giants. There are one Asteroid (As) belt, two Desert (De) worlds, three Garden (Ga) worlds, one Ice-capped (Ic) world, three Poor (Po) worlds, two Vacuum (Va) worlds, and no Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.

Aphlaz has an estimated population of 74 billion distributed across three High population (Hi) worlds, two Moderate population (Ph) worlds, seven Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, one Low population (Lo) world, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population world is Hollerith (Phlask 0502). The population consists of 2 sophont groups including one native sophont.
