Subsector A of Core Sector, at the heart of the Third Imperium.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
The Apge Subsector is dominated by the Apge system, which contains over 80 percent of the subsector’s inhabitants. Apge is the capital and is situated along a ring of star systems that are fittingly called the Apge Run or Apge Cluster, which is a tributary of a longer jump-1 main that extends into neighbouring Sanches Subsector, dipping into the Mekee and Perite subsectors as well.
The Apge Subsector is defended by 26th Fleet.
Subsector Summary: 1116[edit]
Apge, subsector A of Core contains 27 worlds with an estimated population of 75 billion, a per capita income of Cr15,945, and a total economy is BCr1,201,496. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr46,674 through 24 starports (4 Class A, 14 Class B, 4 Class C, 2 Class D) employing 8,707,485 people. Driving this interstellar trade are four Agricultural (Ag) worlds, two Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, four Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, two Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, no Rich (Ri) worlds, and one Industrial (In) world. The governments in Apge maintain ten Naval bases, two Scout bases, and one Way station. The average technology level is 10 (with most between 8 and 13). The highest technology level is 15 at Apge (Core 0402) and Sabsee (Core 0806).
Apge, subsector A of Core contains 37 stars and 282 identified planets; 17 monostellar systems, ten binary systems, no trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 21 of the 27 systems (77%) have native gas giants. There are one Asteroid (As) belt, two Desert (De) worlds, one Garden (Ga) world, one Ice-capped (Ic) world, four Poor (Po) worlds, two Vacuum (Va) worlds, and one Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) world.
Apge has an estimated population of 75 billion distributed across two High population (Hi) worlds, two Moderate population (Ph) worlds, 11 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, nine Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population world is Apge (Core 0402). The population consists of 1 sophont groups.
