Akimasi is a non-industrial fluid ocean world with one large moon located in Suleiman Subsector of the Solomani Rim. Akimasi is a member of the Imperium.

Akismasi remains a true frontier world despite sporadic attempts at terraforming the planet. With limited resources the colony has struggled to maintain vital life support systems. Since the Solomani Rim War, Akimasi has been receiving IISS assistance in maintaining these systems in exchange for cooperation in a long-term study of local planetology. Today, the Akimasi colony is governed by its engineers and technicians, under the leadership of an elected chief executive.
