Urraka is an agricultural, nonindustrial world still lacking adequate means to expand its economy.
- As an agricultural world, this world is a near-ideal environment for producing quality foodstuffs of plant, animal, and other forms. Quality foodstuffs are a major export commodity for this world.
- It requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society. Having to import most manufactured and high tech goods drives the price up for these items at this world.
- It is a Non-Aligned world dominated by human sophonts located in the Jerik Subsector of Halcyon Sector.

Hudson-Urraka System[edit]
The primary is Hudson, an ordinary orange main sequence star. It has a luminosity of 0.284 Sols, a mass of 0.723 Sols, and a diameter of 1.073 million km. The inner system consists of (I) a corrosive atmosphere inferno world, and (II) an insidious atmosphere bigworld. (III-I) an exotic atmosphere radworld, and (III-II) Urraka, designated the mainworld, have a shared orbit within the habitable zone. (IV) a trace atmosphere hospitable world, (V) a sparse stony Planetoid Belt, (VI-I) a ringed large gas giant, (VI-II) a small gas giant, and (VII) a large gas giant form the outer system. Many of the worlds retain satellites.
Adler Subsystem[edit]
The companion is Adler, a dim red subdwarf star that lies approximately 2,770 AU from Hudson. It has a luminosity of 0.00054 Sols, a mass of 0.07 Sols, and a diameter of 91,500 km. (I) a trace atmosphere worldlet, (II) a small ice giant, and (III) a vacuum iceworld form the outer system. Many of the worlds retain satellites.

(III-II) Urraka[edit]
(III-II) Urraka is designated the mainworld. It orbits Hudson at a mean distance of 0.82 AU (122.7 million km), within the habitable zone. It has an orbital period of 318 days 23 hours and a rotation period of 17 hours. The axial tilt is 23 degrees. Urraka has a diameter of 7,185 km, a density of 5.37 g/cm³, and a surface gravity of 0.55 G. The world is geologically active. Its atmosphere is rated as Standard, Tainted, with a mean surface pressure of 0.91 bar and a composition of 76% nitrogen (N2), 22% oxygen (O2), 1% argon (Ar), and 1% water vapor (H2O), carbon dioxide (CO2), radon (Rn), ozone (O3), neon (Ne) and other trace gases. The taint is caused by radioactive atmospheric gases (principally radon) and the relatively high levels of background radiation: radiation levels exceed 35 rads per hour. Approximately 48% of the surface is covered in seas of liquid water and sheets of water-ice: average tidal ranges exceed 0.2m. Mean surface temperature: 7°C. The climate is rated as Temperate-Cool and experiences moderate seasonal changes during the local year. The atmosphere is active and strong weather systems driven by the star and the seas sweep across the globe.

Urraka retains two natural satellites, a tiny vacuum worldlet named Pollo and a very small vacuum worldlet named Mecuri:
