Triton Subsector is located along a significant J-1 Trade Main, but it's economy still has yet to take off.
- There is a two parsec gap in the rimward area of the subsector that requires a jump bridge to further capitalize on interstellar traffic.
- The local nobility is still looking for ways to finance that major project.
- Sternbach was the most populated world by far, with 9 billion of the subsector’s 10.9 billion inhabitants.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
The Triton Subsector is defended by 102nd Fleet.
Subsector Summary: 1105[edit]
Triton, subsector B of Zarushagar contains 33 worlds with an estimated population of 10 billion, a per capita income of Cr14,474, and a total economy is BCr157,309. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr15,950 through 32 starports (6 Class A, 19 Class B, 4 Class C, 3 Class D) employing 2,743,285 people. Driving this interstellar trade are ten Agricultural (Ag) worlds, six Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, three Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, six Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, one Rich (Ri) world, and one Industrial (In) world. The governments in Triton maintain nine Naval bases, and three Scout bases. The average technology level is 10 (with most between 8 and 13). The highest technology level is 15 at Sternbach (Zarushagar 1410).
Triton, subsector B of Zarushagar contains 44 stars and 339 identified planets; 22 monostellar systems, 11 binary systems, no trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 23 of the 33 systems (69%) have native gas giants. There are four Asteroid (As) belts, no Desert (De) worlds, four Garden (Ga) worlds, no Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, four Poor (Po) worlds, seven Vacuum (Va) worlds, and one Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) world.
Triton has an estimated population of 10 billion distributed across one High population (Hi) world, two Moderate population (Ph) worlds, 17 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, six Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population world is Sternbach (Zarushagar 1410). The population consists of 2 sophont groups.
