It is a member of Third Imperium in the Lunion Subsector of Spinward Marches Sector and in the Domain of Deneb. Quiru, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial knight, a member of the Imperial Nobility charged with overseeing the world.

Quiru is a member of the Spinward Main.

Quiru is the largest moon of the gas giant Plistii. A regular stopover on the Spinward Main, Quiru is overshadowed by nearby Heroni (Spinward Marches 2521).
