Python (The Beyond 1503) stands out even among the rich worlds of the sector. The Avalar world is a major trade center, and part of the Gold Road back to the Regency. Like its namesake (Delphi's name was originally Python) the world tries to bill itself as an information broker, catering to merchants and traders seeking to exploit the sectors abundant resources. Its information services are augmented by the planetary intel and security services, sold "under the mat" to the highest bidder. The world lives by auction and by whatever its ports attract for business, and through its ability to act as a middleman for itinerant travellers.
