Subsector J of Glimmerdrift Reaches Sector.

  • This subsector has also been known as Precipice.

Description (Specifications)[edit]

The Poonch Subsector is relatively sparse in terms of stellar density.

The Maskai Empire is an alien state of three worlds and one conquered possession.

The capital world of the Federation of Heron is located here, though its other holdings are in subsectors to spinward.

Subsector Summary: 1105[edit]

Poonch, subsector J of Glimmerdrift Reaches contains 19 worlds with an estimated population of 16 billion, a per capita income of Cr1,992, and a total economy is BCr33,278. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr588 through 13 starports (2 Class A, 2 Class B, 7 Class C, 2 Class D) employing 108,410 people. Driving this interstellar trade are one Agricultural (Ag) world, two Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, two Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, four Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, one Rich (Ri) world, and one Industrial (In) world. The governments in Poonch maintain three Military bases. The average technology level is 8 (with most between 5 and 10). The highest technology level is 11 at Bagilaar (Glimmerdrift Reaches 1230), Maska Shi'ir (Glimmerdrift Reaches 1423), and Mishkhier (Glimmerdrift Reaches 1526).

Poonch, subsector J of Glimmerdrift Reaches contains 27 stars and 218 identified planets; 11 monostellar systems, eight binary systems, no trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 17 of the 19 systems (89%) have native gas giants. There are no Asteroid (As) belts, no Desert (De) worlds, no Garden (Ga) worlds, no Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, three Poor (Po) worlds, two Vacuum (Va) worlds, and one Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) world.

Poonch has an estimated population of 16 billion distributed across two High population (Hi) worlds, two Moderate population (Ph) worlds, five Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, seven Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population world is Nekhi (Glimmerdrift Reaches 1525). The population consists of 3 sophont groups including two native sophonts.

Non-Aligned, Human-dominated[edit]

There are 14 Non-Aligned Human-dominated worlds in Poonch with an estimated population of 16 billion.

Maskai Empire[edit]

The Maskai Empire has jurisdiction over four worlds with an estimated population of 150 million, a per capita income of Cr3,360, and a total economy is BCr504. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr0 through 3 starports (0 Class A, 1 Class B, 2 Class C, 0 Class D) employing 810 people. Driving this interstellar trade are one Agricultural (Ag) world, one Non-Agricultural (Na) world, no Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, two Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, no Rich (Ri) worlds, and no Industrial (In) worlds. The average technology level is 9 (with most between 8 and 10). The highest technology level is 11 at Maska Shi'ir (Glimmerdrift Reaches 1423).

The Maskai Empire has an estimated population of 150 million distributed across no High population (Hi) worlds, no Moderate population (Ph) worlds, no Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, two Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population worlds are Maskaan (Glimmerdrift Reaches 1323) and Alone (Glimmerdrift Reaches 1522). The population consists of 1 sophont groups including one native sophont.

Federation of Heron[edit]

The Federation of Heron has jurisdiction over one world with an estimated population of 40 million, a per capita income of Cr2,925, and a total economy is BCr117. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr2 through 1 starports (0 Class A, 0 Class B, 1 Class C, 0 Class D) employing 1,930 people. Driving this interstellar trade are no Agricultural (Ag) worlds, one Non-Agricultural (Na) world, no Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, no Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, no Rich (Ri) worlds, and no Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Federation of Heron maintain one Military base.

The Federation of Heron has an estimated population of 40 million distributed across no High population (Hi) worlds, no Moderate population (Ph) worlds, no Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, no Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population world is Heron (Glimmerdrift Reaches 0921). The population consists of 1 sophont groups.
