History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
The population is Geonee, possibly the largest concentration outside of the core Geonee Cultural Region.
Imperial High (Landed) Nobility[edit]
Parahee, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estates of two members of the Imperial Nobility, who are charged with overseeing the world.

Urbanization[edit]
Architecture is Geonee-style.
- Family housing is traditionally designed to be two separate wings, joined by a central courtyard.
- The front part of the house, the "public home", is the abode of a male and any unmarried sons or male relatives. This is where visitors are received and males rest and relax.
- The rear is the "private home", where the females live. The only males permitted in this part of the house are the husband -- as all the women are under his protection -- and immediate male relatives.
- The courtyard is frequented equally by both men and women of the family. A secluded section of the courtyard is kept aside for the home of the selweeda – the Chirper (cerosee) that serves as a symbol of the legitimacy of the patriarch's marriage.
World Culture[edit]
Geonee have a cultural taboo against being seen with a bare head, or showing excessive bare skin. In public, males wear long sleeves and trousers, showing only face, ears, and hands. Females are expected to be completely covered in public, with only eyes and hands exposed.
