New Greenpern is a non-industrial world, located in Gemini Subsector of the Solomani Rim.
- The system is a member of the Solomani Confederation.
It contains a forward base for the Gemini subsector fleet of the Confederation Navy. The naval base is the planet’s single largest employer.
New Greenpernt was settled by Solomani colonists from Chernozem (Solomani Rim 1836) in the 880s and was granted self-rule in 980 just before the Solomani Rim War.
New Greenpernt contains an Ancients site, discovered about 1060 and studied by Solomani archaeologists ever since.
