It is a member of Third Imperium in the Gadde Subsector of Dagudashaag Sector and in the Domain of Vland. Namkigem, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial knight and the fiefdom of a baron. Both are members of the Imperial Nobility charged with overseeing the world. This world contains an Imperial Scout Base, capable of handling Scout Service starships and personnel. During the Long Night this world was named Arku.

History and background

A long settled Vilani world, this planet exports luxury foodstuffs throughout this and adjacent subsectors. As with most worlds in Dagudashaag, its history goes back more than 6,000 years. However, unlike most, Namkigem has maintained a stable colony since its initial colonization and has always been an agricultural paradise.
