Description[edit]

The Kuriishe Subsector is defended by 185th Fleet.

This subsector has seen many political intrigues. The Duchy capital was originally at Eraki (Dagudashaag 2920) (capital of the Kuriishe Eraki, the petty state that dominated this region during the Long Night). However, in a scandal in 710 (the precise details of which have never been revealed), Duke Imlagaklus was stripped of his rank by Empress Margaret I and Count St. John of Sivvista was elevated to the Duchy

Subsector Summary: 1105[edit]

Kuriishe, subsector H of Dagudashaag contains 33 worlds with an estimated population of 4 billion, a per capita income of Cr4,119, and a total economy is BCr18,424. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr4,241 through 33 starports (6 Class A, 8 Class B, 15 Class C, 4 Class D) employing 765,225 people. Driving this interstellar trade are four Agricultural (Ag) worlds, three Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, one Pre-Agricultural (Pa) world, five Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, one Rich (Ri) world, and no Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Kuriishe maintain 14 Scout bases, and six Naval bases. The average technology level is 9 (with most between 7 and 12). The highest technology level is 14 at Amiikhuk (Dagudashaag 3115) and Sivvista (Dagudashaag 3120).

Kuriishe, subsector H of Dagudashaag contains 48 stars and 350 identified planets; 18 monostellar systems, 15 binary systems, no trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 20 of the 33 systems (60%) have native gas giants. There are one Asteroid (As) belt, two Desert (De) worlds, one Garden (Ga) world, one Ice-capped (Ic) world, six Poor (Po) worlds, three Vacuum (Va) worlds, and two Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.

Kuriishe has an estimated population of 4 billion distributed across one High population (Hi) world, four Moderate population (Ph) worlds, 12 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, 11 Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The move of subsector capital was unpopular with many to say the least. Much of the population still state that they would like the change reversed, even though the St. John family has proven to be highly competent administrators.
