Krajhune is an agricultural garden world with a near-ideal, utopian environment conducive to most sophonts.
- As an agricultural world, this world is a near-ideal environment for producing quality foodstuffs of plant, animal, and other forms. Quality foodstuffs are a major export commodity for this world.
- Its economy and population are rapidly growing and living conditions are expected to incrementally rise barring outside forces.
- It is a member of the Third Imperium in the Dlan Subsector of Ilelish Sector in the Domain of Ilelish.
- This world is a "Twilight Zone World", a planet that is tidally-locked to its star. It has a hot side that permanently faces the star, a cold side that permanently faces away, and a narrow twilight zone in-between.
- This is a "high technology" world with technology achievements at, near, or over technology standards for Charted Space.
- This world directly administers Gath and Tesperan.
- It is a major Xboat hub.
- This world lies on the Nuzuu Main.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Krajhune is a binary star system.
- Both are red main sequence stars.

System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld.
- x11 secondary rocky worlds.
- x2 gas giants.
Mainworld Data[edit]
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Krajhune is a Meso World between 12,000km and 13,500km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 0.8G and 1.1G. The horizon will appear about 5.1km away. Vessels with 1G of thrust should check with local starport authorities before attempting to land using emergency power.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Krajhune has a pressure of 0.43 to 0.70 atmospheres. The Thin Atmosphere does not require survival gear although it may be hard on sophonts not accustomed to it.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Krajhune has 45-55% of its surface covered by liquid water. Wilderness refueling is possible.
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.
(Blank map, predominantly dry world.)
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Krajhune should be a tidally-locked world around a dim red star, but the presence of a companion star in the system has prevented this from occurring. There are theories, based on the companion's slightly eccentric orbit and the extreme eccentricity of the two ice giants in the far outer system, that the companion was captured in the distant past.
This world is a broad-spectrum agricultural world which grows a combination of low-light-tolerant imported crops and a wide variety of native crops which have proven to be compatible with Humaniti. The native crops include a few borderline crops that require processing, which makes these crops paradoxically popular to coreward among the old Vilani worlds.
The Baron of Krajhune keeps an estate that doubles as a botanical garden, carefully preserving both the native and imported species. The Knight-in-Residence, as is common in the region, keeps his offices near the Port, located not far from the polar ice.
Krajhune has two colonies in nearby systems. Gath was actually re-colonized by Krajhune in the early years of the Third Imperium, while Tesperan sold itself into the position shortly after the Tax Revolt in neighbouring Ilelish Sector. As both worlds depend greatly on the agriculture of Krajhune, the relationships are quite stable.[2]
Ilelish Interstellar, the leading media corporation within Verge Sector, has offices and facilities on the world.
- It is known for its intrusive and sensationalist style of journalism.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Krajhune has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
World Population (P)[edit]
Krajhune has a population of 10,000,000 sophonts (tens of millions).
World Technology Level (T)[edit]
Krajhune possesses a Technology Level of TL–12 or TL-C in Hexadecimal Notation.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Holovision, Personal Global Communications, and advanced Translators.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Increasingly advanced fusion plants and advanced fuel cells.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land, Water & Air: Personal G-Tubes and advanced gravcraft.
- Space: Advanced interplanetary spacecraft (System Craft).
- FTL: Jump Drive-3.
World Government (G)[edit]
Krajhune is governed by a Civil Service Bureaucracy. The leadership of the government is another form (democracy, dictatorship, oligarchy), but the bureaucracy leadership influences policy. The government leadership may select the bureaucracy leadership, but not its membership. Usually the governmental leadership is divided, or incapable of setting policy and the bureaucracy provides a stabilizing influence. The bureaucracy may be the full government bureaucracy or a section with limited jurisdiction but considerable influence like the military.
World Law (L)[edit]
Krajhune has a high law level with laws covering many areas of interactions of people, corporations, and the government. A few worlds with this law level may be Amber Zones. Any interaction with the judicial system requires an Advocate trained in the local legal system. Law enforcement is present almost everywhere, either as people or via technology. Legal proceedings can take weeks to months to resolve and involve a dozen or more people. All blade weapons and firearms, and anything more destructive, are typically regulated or prohibited.
Imperial High (Landed) Nobility[edit]
Krajhune, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estates of two members of the Imperial Nobility, who are charged with overseeing the world.
Trade Data[edit]
- Importance: 3 (ordinary)
World Economy[edit]
- Resources: B (abundant)
- Labor: 6 (millions)
- Infrastructure: D (comprehensive)
- Efficiency: +3 (improved)
World Culture[edit]
- Heterogenity: 7 (discordant)
- Acceptance: A (very friendly)
- Strangeness: 5 (distinct)
- Symbols: C (very abstract)
