System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld.
- x12 secondary rocky worlds.
Mainworld Data[edit]
Khirar orbits towards the outer edge of the two star's combined habitable zone.
It has a very slow rotation period: one local day is equivalent to 2.4 standard weeks (approximately 400 standard hours).
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Khirar is a Meso World between 8,800km and 10,400km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 0.6G and 0.8G. The horizon will appear about 4.4km away.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Khirar has a pressure of 0.43 to 0.70 atmospheres. While the thin atmosphere does not require survival gear this atmosphere also contains an unusual taint such as such as disease, a hazardous gas mix, pollutants, or sulfur compounds which requires the use of a Filter Mask. Some taints may require more protective equipment. TL–3 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
- It experiences high temperatures during the 200 hour local day.
- It experiences low temperatures during the 200 hour local night.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Khirar has 35-45% of its surface covered by liquid water. There will be a number of small seas or one larger body of water. Wilderness refueling is possible.
- During the day, the seas are close to boiling. During the night they become icy cold.
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.
(Blank map, predominantly dry world.)
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Llelish Interstellar, the leading media corporation within Ilelish Sector, maintains facilities and offices on the world.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Khirar has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
- The world is host to an Imperial Naval Base.
World Population (P)[edit]
Khirar has a population of 7,000,000,000 sophonts (billions).
- High Population Worlds like this tend to have huge consumer markets.
- Almost the entire population consists of Suerrat.
Languages[edit]
The following languages are most typically heard:
- Anglic: one of the two official languages of the Imperium.
- Na'ans: the most widely spoken Suerrat language.

Urbanization[edit]
Suerrat cities are very crowded. Suerrat populations are at a density where other species find the mental health of the inhabitants deteriorates; by contrast, Suerrat thrive in these conditions.
- Suerrat like natural surroundings and will incorporate vegetation and even small animals into their urban areas, wherever possible.
World Technology Level (T)[edit]
Khirar possesses a Technology Level of TL–12 or TL-C in Hexadecimal Notation.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Holovision, Personal Global Communications, and advanced Translators.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Increasingly advanced fusion plants and advanced fuel cells.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land, Water & Air: Personal G-Tubes and advanced gravcraft.
- Space: Advanced interplanetary spacecraft (System Craft).
- FTL: Jump Drive-3.
