Khezoeridosai is an agricultural world with an ideal environment for producing food from plants, animals, or other forms. The system has a population between 100,000 and 10 million sophonts. The world has a colony on Aenguezae (Knoellighz 1114). This is a temperate world, with a climate of average temperatures. It is a Vargr dominated Non-Aligned world in the Engakhs Subsector of Knoellighz Sector.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

Khezoeridosai is the default capital world of the Engakhs Independent Cluster of Engakhs Subsector. It is not a formal capital (Cp), but rather the most Jump-capable world in the isolated group of worlds. Other worlds in the Engakhs Independent Cluster are dependent on and investors to Khezoeridosai’s simple jump drives, its ships and the designs that allow it to colonize or otherwise trade with the rest of its neighbors.

With a large mainworld holding its Vargr citizenry down with a strong 1.33 surface gravity, the average Gvegh being is hardy with a strong skeletal and respiratory system while needing dietary supplements for joints later in life.

The planet’s Dense and Tainted atmosphere requiring Filters to be used by the structures and individuals. Again, with the atmospheric pressure of 1.9, the locals’ respiratory systems are truly tested in order to breathe. Many off-worlders find visits to Khezoeridosai stuffy and ‘itchy’ to inhale through their filters. Fatigue can set in as early as six hours and may require pressure-lock tanks to help visitors acclimate to the pressure and tainting.

Khezoeridosai is oceanic with 80% oceans and rivers. Very few wide lakes are present as slopes of the landmasses are too steep to gather for long. Equatorial continents with spotted island chains encircle the world as polar ice caps dominate the arctic regions with frequent icebergs travelling the seas. The lands are lush on this Agricultural world and volcanic ash from the seamounts over tectonic hot-spots lends nutrients on a quarterly frequency.

Since spreading outward from Khezoeridosai into other worlds of the Engakhs Independent Cluster, the mainworld has drastically reduced its original Population to just over one million Vargr to continue working the farms and ranches as urban areas are reduced to make room for more agrarian territory. Towns and small cities have become shells of former civilization as more colonists take off-world opportunities rather than remain.

At the advent of the Jump-1 drive, a distinct spike in Tech Level of Khezoeridosai average, the world Balkanized by continent as rival shipbuilders vie to produce the most efficient colony, trade and military classes. Many hulls are variable by purpose, holding the same basic configuration, tonnage, hardpoints and fuel for two jumps. Citizens of a continent work frantically to construct vessels in preparation to lift to orbit, fuel at one of two Gas Giants and begin a careful spool up to jump to their futures in the Cluster.

Khezoeridosai Government is Balkanized by both continents and competing colonization, starship construction, agricultural, mining and refining corporate groups all seemingly following a previous age’s Government guidelines in guild competition racing to the stars. There are few civil conflicts, the only social divisor being those who wish to stay and those willing to strike out into outer space and the interstellar community.

The mainworld’s average Tech Level is 9, but spikes in the realm of jump technology and spacecraft and starship construction. Yet originality is not a gift of the Vargr here. Many hulls appear alike though their purposes vastly differ. A colony ship may look exactly as a trader. A military vessel might standout by its signature bristling turrets alone.

Khezoeridosai system features a single, wide band planetoid belt being exploited by the entities of the Balkanized government laying claim to entire sections. Two Gas Giants are not claimed nor cordoned by any local entity and all ships come to skim for fuel with impunity. The system traffic control has placed several thoroughfare beacons in series from the most common jump vectors at 100 Diameters. Referees: Pilot (starship) and Pilot (spacecraft) are blessed with a +1DM for in-system transit if the beacons are used. If so, then local traffic control automatically senses the vessel travelling the way-paths. Many of the traffic beacons also transmit commercial advertisement messages from the guild entities on Khezoridosai for a monthly fee. This floods the system with radio chatter on civilian bands.

Khezoridosai has colonized and Owns the small, Cluster world of Aenguezae (Knoellighz 1114), a Poor desert planet that cannot seem to take colonial hold and requires frequent re-supply from its home benefactor in exchange for raw resources procured there.
