Subsector C of Touchstone Sector, largely uncharted and unclaimed. A few Aslan worlds hug the trailing edge.

Humans are found on Grief.

Description / Specifications[edit]

Humans call this subsector Hardway, allegedly from the difficulty early explorers faced in reaching the area, although it is possible that a similar-sounding word to the Aslan name was chosen for convenience. The subsector is dominated by a large cluster of star systems that extends spinward into Kyahiyleakhaw Subsector. Why this area is not claimed by the Aslan remains unclear; virtually no astrographical data on the area is available in the Imperium.

History & Background / Dossier[edit]

In 1116, the subsector had a population of 51.5 Million, and its highest TL was 9, at Khtyakhtalr. In 1202, the subsector's population is 7.9 Billion, and its highest TL is D, at Auwewearel (1709) and Iykhei (2209).

Hiryarloah subsector possessed only a handful of inhabited systems, mostly within the Khaukheairl sphere to trailing. Like neighboring Kyahiyleakhaw subsector it became a battleground between "wildcatter" clans and Collapse refugees. The primary conflict is between Tralyeaeawi and a number of Aokhalte vassals in the rimward part of the sector. To intercede between them are a number of independent clans, and the suprisingly strong presence of Yerlyaruiwo and Eakhitiyo clans.
