System Data[edit]

Harad System[edit]

The primary is Harad, an orange bright giant star. It has a luminosity of 1514 Sols, a mass of 12.2 Sols, and a diameter of 114.1 million km – the corona extends to 0.38 AU, within orbital position (II). The inner system consists of (III) a very hot small gas giant, (V) a trace atmosphere worldlet, (VI) a vacuum worldlet, (VII) a trace atmosphere inner world, (VIII) an exotic atmosphere bigworld, and (IX) a dense stony planetoid belt – orbital positions (I) and (II) lie within the star and orbital position (IV) is empty. (X) a large gas giant that retains (Xc) a thin atmosphere hospitable moon orbits within the habitable zone. (XI) a ringed large gas giant, and (XII) a small ice giant form the outer system. Many of the worlds retain satellites.

Mainworld Data[edit]

No world within the system has been designated the mainworld.

Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]

No information yet available.

Native Lifeforms[edit]

The hospitable gas giant moon lying in the habitable zone has extensive, abundant native life, with complex organisms inhabiting every ecological niche. Their metabolic functions drive the process of atmospheric renewal.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

Much of what is known of the Harad system comes from the Dillard-Purcell Expedition of the late 53rd century.
