Starships are designed with the Classic Traveller format, using High Guard Shipyard v1.13 written by Andrea Vallance.

The Grendal class Battleship is a warship.

Description (Specifications)[edit]

Designed to bring the heaviest possible armor and defenses and the best meson spinal mounted weaponry to the line of battle. All other design features were not important. The trade off in this case was the below average 3 G acceleration and agility. Considered small for a battleship, some wanted to classify it as the heaviest of heavy cruisers. Ultimately, the mission and not the nomenclature won out. Designed for a slug fest, to kill and scrap iron and not lengthy, independent patrols, this is not a cruiser.

Basic Ship Characteristics[edit]

Following the Imperial Navy and IISS Universal Ship Profile and data, additional information is presented in the format shown here. The small craft factor indicates the number of squadrons (of ten craft) carried on the ship. Tonnage on the universal ship profile is shown in kilotons (thousands of tons) where necessary. [1]
