Glitterdrift Reach

The Glitterdrift Reach is a cluster of 34 systems lying within the Moat Rifts, on the spinward-coreward edge of the Distant Fringe.

Description / Specifications

The Glitterdrift Reach is located within the coreward-trailing quadrant of Divide Sector. A number of its trailing systems lie within Murada Subsector of Halcyon Sector.

The Demon Cluster, the Distant Fringe, lies to trailing. The Delphic Tract lies to coreward, separated from the Reach by a three parsec wide gap known as the Big Step.

The locations and general nature of the systems that make up the Glitterdrift Reach have been charted by the University of Selasia Spinward Survey. Additional study and research has been carried out by the Local Astrographical Survey Project.

History & Background / Dossier

No part of the Glitterdrift Reach can be reached by conventional vessels travelling from the Distant Fringe.

Vessels of the Dissident Fleet are thought to have passed through the region circa 2260AD, as they continued their journey to spinward.
