Far Frontiers style="width: 250px; height: 350px; border: solid 1px black; float: right; clear: left"

Far Frontiers Sector is a fringe sector, bordered by the powerful Zhodani Consulate, which although maintaining a powerful military, easily capable of conquering the area, never has.

  • Some speculate that the enigmatic Zhodani seem satisfied with the status quo, which is a roiling morass of numerous pocket empires under which practically anything goes.
  • It is also known as Afachtiabr Sector.

Description (Specifications)[edit]

The Far Frontiers are a tumultuous setting, as the Terrans would call it -- a border area sandwiched between the enigmatic Zhodani, and numerous pocket empires and client states, with great difficulty in telling the two apart. The area is also known for mysterious ruins that attract xeno-archaeologists from across Charted Space.

Historical Eras[edit]

The Vlazhdumecta minor human race apparently originate here, having received the jump drive from the Zhodani thousands of years ago.

The Zhodani Consulate became alarmed at the rate of Vlazhdumecta expansion and decided to eliminate this potential threat to Consulate security. In a series of political, economic, and finally military moves, the Consulate “absorbed” the Vlazhdumecta core worlds in Far Frontiers. Soon after the absorption of the Vlazhdumecta core worlds, the Vlazhdumecta mercantile empire began to fall apart. Within a few centuries, the Vlazhdumecta Colonisation Sphere had completely collapsed, causing much disquiet and controversy in the Consulate, especially in neighbouring Yiklerzdanzh Sector.
