Esperium

Esperium is a rare radioactive ore used as a psi booster, which is also known as Berasite.

Description / Specifications

Though banned in the Imperium, it is extensively mined in the psi-friendly outworlds. Rare, it goes for Cr10,000-17,000 per gram.

History & Background / Dossier

The name Esperium may be based on Esper, a near-obsolete Terran term for Psionic individuals, which was derived from the acronym E.S.P. ("Extra-Sensory Perception") in the Terran language known as "English".
