The star Epsilon Leporis is a yellow-orange giant star of spectral type K4 that has evolved off the main-sequence and is now fusing helium in its core after having used up its supply of core hydrogen.

The Epsilon Leporis star system lies approximately 65.4pc from Terra, and is located in a Rimtrailing/Rimward direction from Terra at bearing 223.2o Galactic Longitude and -32.7o South Galactic Latitude.
