Emoress (World) Synopsis[edit]

Emoress is a rich water world with its surface 90% or more covered in an ocean of water.

  • The inhabitants of this world live on the roughly 10% of exposed land mass, in underwater colonies, on city ships, or similar arrangements.
  • This is a rich world with a prosperous and thriving world economy.
  • This world has high-grade living conditions with a good climate and a non-harmful environment. As such, this world is much sought after with large queues for immigration here.
  • Most observers think that the planet's economy and population will prosper in the near future barring outside forces.
  • It is a Non-Aligned world dominated by human sophonts located in the Forcett Subsector of Gateway Sector.
  • This world has a nearby Naval Base, usually associated with military starships.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

Emoress is home to the more or less permanent conference known as the Conclave of Emoress. The Conclave provides a significant portion of the port’s income. At any given time there may be representatives from various small states, mercenary forces, corporations, popular insurgencies and any other group that might be worried about the Lords of Thunder. A surprisingly effective joint intelligence task force is operated by the Conclave, which pays well for accurate and timely information about K'Kree activities as well as general information on their society.
