Ekha supports a population of fewer than 10,000 sophonts. This world is designated an Amber Zone with an environment, laws, customs, life forms, or other conditions make it dangerous to visitors. The world is tropical with a hot, though still habitable, climate at the upper limits of human comfort. It is a member of Third Imperium in the Bolivar Subsector of Dagudashaag Sector and in the Domain of Vland. Ekha, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial knight, a member of the Imperial Nobility charged with overseeing the world. During the Long Night this world was named Irdeiishi.

Astrography and planetology[edit]

Ekha is a member of the As on As Cluster. Ekha is a tropical paradise world of magnificent beauty. It gets it name from a Sylean perversion of the Anglic echo. This geologically stable world is riddled with massive subterranean caverns, some of which measure kilometers across, many of which are unexplored.

History and background[edit]

The world is wholly owned by Imperiallines, used by its executives and VIPs as a sabbatical retreat. Under the charter of ownership, the planet should never support a population of greater than 10,000, and never more than 10,000 visitors on world.

To aid this charter, Imperiallines lobbied for an Amber Zone classification which was incorrectly granted in 505. When settled after the Long Night by the one of the forerunner corporations to Imperiallines, a planetary charter was written to preserve Ekha's great, pristine beauty. All development and building would take place below ground in the great caverns. For 600 years the planet has been in a legal battle with the IISS over the classification.

Fossils of a large reptile not native to Ekha have been found here. In 844, similar fossils were discovered on Fey'm (Dagudashaag 0236) though it was impossible to confirm that, despite appearances, they belonged to the same species. Later similar fossils were found on Zeda (Dagudashaag 0721),Eddum (Dagudashaag 0531) and Nimluin (Dagudashaag 0736).

Trade Data[edit]

The Imperiallines subsidiary Medurma Main StarLines is the only merchant line that provides service to Ekha.
