Daccamite is the name given to an ancient minor race believed to have been the dominant species on Ruie pre-settlement (-2200). Very little information regarding the Daccamite civilization is known.
Description / Specifications[edit]
No living sophont is certain regarding the exact description of Daccamites. The fossil record tends to support the theory of an egg laying biped of reptilian origin. The vast majority of Daccamite ruins lay within the territory of Neblethorn on Ruie. This area is a totalitarian regime with very restricted access and thus far no researchers from the Imperium have been allowed in for study.
History & Background / Dossier[edit]
An attempt from the IISS to learn more about the Daccamite ruins in Nebelthorn territory occurred in 1051. A scout survey team member named Abbot Phillips ventured into Nebelthorn to request information from the local government regarding Daccamites. The visit wasn't officially authorized by the survey leader and Phillips was never seen again.
