Daas is a rich world with a shirt-sleeve atmosphere and a balance of available surface water. The system supports a population in the 100's of millions, which makes it too urbanized to make an agricultural world. The world has a colony on Duukhaa (Dagudashaag 3205). It is a member of Third Imperium in the Iiradu Subsector of Dagudashaag Sector and in the Domain of Vland. Daas, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estates of an Imperial knight and a baronet, and the fiefdoms of a baron and a viscount. All four are members of the Imperial Nobility charged with overseeing the world. This world contains an Imperial Scout Base, capable of handling Scout Service starships and personnel. During the Long Night this world was named Uundliir Ka.
Astrography and planetology[edit]
Daas is located on the Vilani Main.

History and background[edit]
Daas is ruled by the upper class elite of society known as Sidarous. Entry into this group is restricted to a select group of rich families and nobles. Only those families shown to have the appropriate manners, breeding, and substantial source of wealth are allowed in. A few off-worlders have been known to retire to Daas to joins the Sidarous and live out their years in a luxuriant manner with like thinking individuals.
The ruling government is exclusively drawn from the Sidarous with little regard for the opinions of the lower classes. The lower classes accept the uneven distribution of society and the Sidarous as simply a fact of life.
Daas has achieved TL–10 through import of technology and gifts brought by prospective members of the Sidarous. The same applies to the class B starport. Daas downport's ship yard was built through external donations. Daas's primary export is supplying essential equipment and foodstuffs to Aska.
There have been an increasing number of civil disturbances against the Sidarous of over the past 20 years. One group, the Maaraagik, have pronounced themselves solely responsible for the disturbances and threatened escalating events until the Sidarous provide direct finance to make Daas less reliant on others and distribute the planet's income more fairly.
The Sidarous have taken a hard line with the Maaraagik, with several hundred members incarcerated at the Iiradu (Dagudashaag 3008) controled penal colony on Kurdeshu (Dagudashaag 3006).
The IISS base here maintains a watch over the entire system. Daas maintains a small squadron of System Defense Boats to protect planetary interests and the single gas giant. Daas contracts this squadron from a mercenary group Soreal Incorporated, now based on Daas. The leader of the group is Hegan Kisniili, and off-worlder from Iiradu retired to Daas and now part of the Sidarous.
