Bravo is a rich world with a shirt-sleeve atmosphere and a balance of available surface water. The system supports a population in the 100's of millions, which makes it too urbanized to make an agricultural world. It is a Human dominated Non-Aligned world in the Tokitre Subsector of Empty Quarter Sector.
- This world was once known as Ashkheradda- and part of the Glorious Twelve.

History and Background[edit]
This system, named Ashkheradda by the First Imperium, was selected as a military staging area during the -2400s. (Although the Interstellar Wars were starting up at this time, the main threat in mind were the Vargr, not the Terrans.) Four chains of secret fuel dumps were pre-positioned in the Lesser Rift: linked together at Ashkheradda, it would have allowed the Vilani fleet to strike anywhere, with complete surprise. The project was completed just before the First Imperium fell to the Terrans, in -2219 Imperial.
Bravo - then called Bravo Base - was one of the Glorious Twelve, the term given to the twelve human systems that stood against the Vargr Pillaging.
Isolated, heavily-protected Bravo Base was one of the two major military installations for the Rule of Man within the sector. (Alpha Base was set on the Coreward capital world of Ikon (Empty Quarter 1602), and was flooded and broken up during the final Vargr conquest of that world. Charlie Base, on Nulinad (Empty Quarter 0338), was pounded to rubble during a local civil war in A.D. 2758 (-1762 Imperial.))
Early Imperial strategists believed that her military fortifications and starship facilities - maintained across the centuries by sheer will and determination - would make Bravo Base a great stepping stone into the coreward Quarter. Finally, if the locals could be convinced that the Third Imperium was the Rule of Man’s legitimate successor, they would make a solid base of support for the Emperor. However, getting there with the Jump3 limits of TL 12 technology available to the early Imperium was very chancy at best. Moreover, the lone scout that made it to the system (and returned to tell the tale) reported that the locals despised the Imperium as an impostor of the glorious Rule of Man. As a precautionary measure, the Imperium decided to Yellow Zone the system in 68 until a course of action could be taken. Bravo retained her hostility to the modern Imperium until c. 580, when civil strife on the issue of Imperial legitimacy began to tear apart her social fabric. Normally, the resulting struggle would have been a brief affair, but the Sheiks and the Lions backed the separate factions with money and weapons, allowing the war to blaze on long after it normally would have burnt itself off.
The bitter, grinding war led to the death of over 95% of the world’s population, and ruined her infrastructure and centuries-old Rule of Man installations. After the devastation, most of the Sheik-backed faction relocated to nearby Corsabren (Empty Quarter 1619) in 587. The Indianbacked remnant on Bravo Base, while still revering the Rule of Man, were now dependent on off-world support and could no longer afford hostility to the modern Imperium. (They dropped the ‘Base’ from the world’s name at this time, as well.)
