Lemara-Bolus System

The primary is Lemara, an ordinary white main sequence star. It has a luminosity of 9.68 Sols, a mass of 1.78 Sols, and a diameter of 2.393 million km. The inner system consists of (III) an exotic atmosphere radworld, (IV) a trace atmosphere inner world, and (V) a very thin atmosphere hospitable world – orbital positions (I) and (II) are empty. (VI) Bolus orbits within the habitable zone and is designated the mainworld. (VII) an exotic atmosphere hospitable world, (VIII) a sparse stony planetoid belt, (IX-I) a ringed large gas giant, (IX-II) a large gas giant, and (X) a ringed small gas giant form the outer system. Many of the worlds retain satellites.

Jenkor Subsystem

The companion is Jenkor, an ordinary orange main sequence star lying approximately 12,330 AU from Lemara. It has a luminosity of 0.064 Sols, a mass of 0.5376 Sols, and a diameter of 778,000 km. (I) a standard atmosphere hospitable world orbits within the habitable zone. (II) a very thin atmosphere hospitable world, (III) a sparse icy planetoid belt, and (IV) a ringed large gas giant form the outer system. All of the worlds retain satellites.

(VI) Bolus

(VI) Bolus is designated the mainworld. It orbits Lemara at a mean distance of 5.62 AU (840.7 million km), within the habitable zone. It has an orbital period of 4 years 103 days and a rotation period of 48 hours. The axial tilt is 45 degrees. Bolus has a diameter of 9,322 km, a density of 4.23 g/cm³, and a surface gravity of 0.56 G. The world is geologically inert. Its atmosphere is rated as Very Thin, with a mean surface pressure of 0.41 bar and a composition of 77% nitrogen (N₂), 21% oxygen (O₂), 1% argon (Ar), and 1% water vapor (H₂O), carbon dioxide (CO₂), ozone (O₃), neon (Ne) and other trace gases. Approximately 34% of the surface is covered in seas of liquid water: average tidal ranges exceed 0.3m. Mean surface temperature: 37°C. The climate is rated as Hot and experiences major seasonal changes during the local year. The atmosphere is sluggish and minor weather systems driven by the star and the seas drift across the globe.

Bolus retains a single natural satellite, a trace atmosphere worldlet named Pill:

Their metabolic functions maintain the process of atmospheric renewal.

Bolus, the mainworld, has extensive native life, consisting of microscopic organisms, stromatolite-parallels and primitive flora that can be found in almost every ecological niche. Their metabolic functions drive the process of atmospheric renewal.

The temperate hospitable world lying in orbital position (I) (within the habitable zone) has extensive native life, consisting of microscopic organisms, stromatolite-parallels and primitive flora that can be found in almost every ecological niche. The cold marginally hospitable world lying in orbital position (II) (within the H+ region of the outer system) has primitive extremophile native life, consisting entirely of microscopic cyanobacteria-parallels that thrive in the harsh conditions. Their metabolic functions drive the process of atmospheric renewal.
