History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

Population[edit]

Argus is home to about 38 billion people, most of whom dwell in huge self-contained cities with layers deep underground and high towers rising above.

Urbanization[edit]

Most cities do not have a ‘ground level’. The underground section tends to be built in layers, in blocks which have areas of bedrock between them for stability or support. This trend is continued above ground, with vast blocky constructions rising tens of even hundreds of metres and linked by tubeways. From the tops of these structures (and sometimes between them) are high, slender towers which house government offices, major business groups and the social elite.

Imperial High (Landed) Nobility[edit]

Argus, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estates of two members of the Imperial Nobility, who are charged with overseeing the world.
