A sector lying within the Where The Stars End region of the Empty Stars. It is dominated by the huge Verant's Head Nebula.

Argent Sector is an unexplored region. The positions and types of its stars have been cataloged as part of the University of Tal Varisa Deep Sky Program.

Argent Sector is an unpopulated and totally undeveloped wilderness. Starfaring sophonts are not known to have been active in the sector since the Last Armada, more than three millennia ago.

Major Historical Events[edit]

The Last Armada is believed to have crossed Argent Sector some time prior to 2255AD as it fled the Destruction of Terra. The Armada's exact route is unknown but the current consensus is that it entered the sector within its coreward-trailing quadrant. It likely crossed the Laurentine Gulf and entered the Laurent's Dagger Cluster before moving into the rimward regions of Kalash Sector.

  • 2255AD Argent Sector officially named. It had previously been charted by long-range scans performed by vessels the Last Armada.

  • Basilisk's Eye (1723 Tarchon Sector). The extremely luminous white supergiant star, lying around 60 parsecs to spinward-coreward, can be clearly seen from all of the worlds lying within Argent Sector.
  • Demon's Eye (1621 Far Home Sector). The intensely luminous blue supergiant star, lying around 125 parsecs to spinward, can be clearly seen from all of the worlds lying within Argent Sector.
