Aia Ka is a barren vacuum world with no overt population, government, or law level.

  • These worldlets warrant hazardous environment precautions.
  • Life in a vacuum requires great discipline. After all, it only takes one forgotten seal on a vacuum suit to spell death.
  • This world could be populated if anyone had an inclination to do so...
  • It is a part of the Sath Exploration program in the Hak'tha Subsector of Deep Sector, which is part of the Distant Fringe.
  • Warning: Humans are not welcome within Sath-controlled areas. Those few humans that venture into their territory are generally met with a hostile reception and are closely monitored at all times.

System Data[edit]

Thi'kh-Aia Ka System[edit]

The primary is Thi'kh, a dim red main sequence star. It has a luminosity of 0.007 Sols, a mass of 0.331 Sols, and a diameter of 498,000 km. (I) a dense rocky planetoid belt, (III) an insidious atmosphere radworld, (IV) Aia Ka, designated the mainworld, (V) an exotic atmosphere radworld, and (VI) a vacuum worldlet form the outer system – orbital position (II) is empty. Both of the radworlds retain satellites.

Mainworld Data[edit]

(IV) Aia Ka[edit]

(IV) Aia Ka World is designated the mainworld and orbits Thi'kh at a mean distance of 0.96 AU (143.6 million km), within the outer system. It has an orbital period of 1 year 232 days and a rotation period of 16.5 hours. The axial tilt is 6 degrees. Aia Ka has a diameter of 1,351 km, a density of 3.97 g/cm³, and a surface gravity of 0.076 G. It is geologically inert. It retains no measurable atmosphere and does not have a hydrosphere. Mean surface temperature: -176°C.

Mainworld geography and topography[edit]

Total surface area: 5.7 million km²

Native lifeforms[edit]

No world in the Aia Ka system is known to have native life.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

World starport[edit]

Aia Ka has a Class E Starport, a frontier quality installation with few expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of a downport.

World technology level[edit]

Aia Ka possesses a Technology Level of TL–0.

  • These worlds often contain a Proto-Sophont species beginning to establish a nascent civilization and society.
  • This world is in its Alpha Period and has not yet been interfered with by a higher technology civilization.
  • Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Bodily communicative apparati, courier-runners, and smoke signals.
  • Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Bodily muscle.
  • Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
    • Land: Bodily locomotion, riding beasts, and litters or sedan chairs.
    • Water: Swimming, rafts, and canoes.
    • Air: Typically not available unless a bodily ability.

World government[edit]

Aia Ka has no central government for the world, an Anarchy. The largest governmental structure would be a family, tribe, or single clan. The largest group will be between 50 and 100 individuals, and there may be dozens to hundreds of them. This governmental structure can be stable over long periods of time if the population remains small or geographically separated.
