The Zhodani first encounter Vilani traders in the Provence Sector and Corridor Sector around this time. It is likely that the Zhodani had already learned of the existence of the Vilani earlier due to information acquired from the Vargr (already known to the Zhodani since around -2800), but this is when the two Major Human Races began to make contact. The Vilani had already encountered the Solomani of Terra by -2422, so henceforth all three major human races would become known to each other. All four of these major races (Vilani, Zhodani, Solomani, Vargr) are descended from Sphere Terra due to the activities of the Ancients.
