Scotian Deep Subsector is located near the heart of Reaver's Deep and is dominated both politically and economically by the Principality of Caledon.
  • Politically, nearly a third of the subsector is directly answerable to the Principality.
  • The trade network of various Caledonian mercantile firms exercises a great deal of influence over the other systems in the region.
  • Some simply call it Scotian Subsector.

Description (Specifications)[edit]

It is an area of medium to high stellar density and is well populated by sophonts.

Subsector Summary: 1105[edit]

Scotian Deep, subsector F of Reaver's Deep has 27 worlds, of which 25 have native gas giants. The estimated population for the subsector is 32 billion sophonts (not necessarily humans). There are three High population (Hi) worlds, six Moderate population (Ph) worlds, 12 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, three Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. There are five Agricultural (Ag) worlds versus seven Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, and two Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds. There are seven Rich (Ri) worlds versus three Industrial (In) worlds. There is one Asteroid (As) belt, two Desert (De) worlds, four Garden (Ga) worlds, two Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, five Poor (Po) worlds, three Vacuum (Va) worlds, and no Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds. There are five Naval bases in the subsector, two Scout bases, and no Way stations. In Scotian Deep there is one race homeworld. The highest population world is Cuillin (Reaver's Deep 1613). The highest tech level is C at Stirling (Reaver's Deep 1415) and Douglass (Reaver's Deep 1617). The average technology level is 8 (with most between 5 and 10).

Polity Listing: 1105[edit]

The Principality of Caledon in Scotian Deep has jurisdiction over 13 worlds with a population of 14 billion. The highest population world is Cuillin (Reaver's Deep 1613). The highest tech level is C at Stirling (Reaver's Deep 1415) and Douglass (Reaver's Deep 1617). The average technology level is 9 (with most between 7 and 10).

The Non-Aligned Human-dominated worlds in Scotian Deep encompasses 11 worlds with a population of 18 billion. The highest population world is Zabaloc (Reaver's Deep 0919). The highest tech level is 9 at Brighton (Reaver's Deep 1020), Arrecife (Reaver's Deep 1420), and Svalbard (Reaver's Deep 1512). The average technology level is 7 (with most between 5 and 8).

The Client states of the Principality of Caledon in Scotian Deep encompasses two worlds with a population of 4 million. The highest population world is Shannon (Reaver's Deep 1113). The highest tech level is A at Rejhappur (Reaver's Deep 1218).

The Client states of the Third Imperium in Scotian Deep encompasses one world with a population of less than 1 million.
