Riftrim Subsector is a barren subsector situated at the edge of the Great Rift.
  • It is sparsely populated without any multi-world governments, or much reason to attract them.

Description (Specifications)[edit]

The Riftrim rarely attracts the starcraft of the major races. It is rumored to be riddled through with pirates and dissidents.

Subsector Summary: 1105[edit]

Riftrim, subsector C of Reaver's Deep has 11 worlds, of which 8 have native gas giants. The estimated population for the subsector is 2 billion sophonts (not necessarily humans). There is one High population (Hi) world, no Moderate population (Ph) worlds, three Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, one Low population (Lo) world, and four Barren (Ba) worlds. There are two Agricultural (Ag) worlds versus no Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, and no Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds. There is one Rich (Ri) world versus no Industrial (In) worlds. There are no Asteroid (As) belts, no Desert (De) worlds, four Garden (Ga) worlds, two Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, one Poor (Po) world, two Vacuum (Va) worlds, and no Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds. There are no Naval bases in the subsector, no Scout bases, and no Way stations. The highest population world is Zemlya (Reaver's Deep 2310). The highest tech level is 9 at Winnetka (Reaver's Deep 1710), Ellerton (Reaver's Deep 1810), and Iron Angel (Reaver's Deep 2110). The average technology level is 4 (with most between 0 and 7).
