Kimson's Stand, subsector L of the Dark Nebula, is largely controlled by the Solomani Confederation and lies on the Confederation's spinward border with the Aslan Hierate.

Kimson's Stand, subsector L of Dark Nebula has 25 worlds, of which 22 have native gas giants. The estimated population for the subsector is 15 billion sophonts (not necessarily humans). There are two High population (Hi) worlds, five Moderate population (Ph) worlds, 13 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, four Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. There are five Agricultural (Ag) worlds versus four Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, and two Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds. There are two Rich (Ri) worlds versus two Industrial (In) worlds. There is one Asteroid (As) belt, no Desert (De) worlds, two Garden (Ga) worlds, no Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, two Poor (Po) worlds, six Vacuum (Va) worlds, and three Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.
