Kakhasaek, subsector E of Empty Quarter has 19 worlds, of which 17 have native gas giants. The estimated population for the subsector is 789 million sophonts (not necessarily humans). There are no High population (Hi) worlds, one Moderate population (Ph) world, 12 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, six Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. There are four Agricultural (Ag) worlds versus two Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, and no Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds. There is one Rich (Ri) world versus no Industrial (In) worlds. There are no Asteroid (As) belts, three Desert (De) worlds, no Garden (Ga) worlds, one Ice-capped (Ic) world, six Poor (Po) worlds, one Vacuum (Va) world, and one Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) world. There are no Naval bases in the subsector, no Scout bases, and no Way stations. The highest population world is Kakhasaek (Empty Quarter 0414). TL15 technology, the highest in the subsector and in the Empty Quarter sector, can be found at Saerrogh, a world owned and protected by the Saerrogh pack, named for a famous corsair band of local renown a few centuries ago whose descendants now own the world outright.
