The Ian Subsector is defended by 32nd Fleet  and the 33rd Fleet.

Subsector Summary: 1116[edit]

Ian, subsector E of Corridor has 23 worlds, of which 22 have native gas giants. The estimated population for the subsector is 69 billion sophonts (not necessarily humans). There are two High population (Hi) worlds, four Moderate population (Ph) worlds, 12 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, four Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. There are five Agricultural (Ag) worlds versus two Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, and one Non-Agricultural (Na) world. There is one Rich (Ri) world versus no Industrial (In) worlds. There are no Asteroid (As) belts, no Desert (De) worlds, one Garden (Ga) world, two Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, six Poor (Po) worlds, one Vacuum (Va) world, and one Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) world. There are five Naval bases in the subsector, four Scout bases, and no Way stations. The Imperial nobility includes 21 Knights, three Baronets, five Barons, two Marquises, four Viscounts, two Counts, no Dukes, and one Subsector Duke. The highest population world is Irasumshu (Corridor 0417). The highest tech level is D at Kiran (Corridor 0112). The average technology level is 8 (with most between 5 and 10).
