Starships are designed with the Classic Traveller format, using High Guard Shipyard v1.13 written by Andrea Vallance.

The Hatchet class System Defense Boat is a defensive warship.

Description (Specifications)[edit]

Used by the Kingdom of Peladon, this is a Royal Peladon Navy (RPN) class of TL–11 system defense boat 6-Gs acceleration and 5-Agility. This vessel is heavily armored, and has a streamlined needle/wedge hull with scoops for ocean refueling. It is armed with two triple missile turrets, a dual plasma gun turret and two triple beam laser turrets. They carry a breaching and boarding party for search and seizure of intruder vessels. Any ships which cross their path without a writ and documentation of royal leave, are hailed, ordered to heave to and boarded. It also features a model 5 fib computer.

Basic Ship Characteristics[edit]

The small craft factor indicates the number of squadrons (of ten craft) carried on the ship. Tonnage on the universal ship profile is shown in kilotons (thousands of tons) where necessary. [1]
