Eghuekarorrg is an industrial world with a tainted atmosphere. The system has a population over one billion. This is a temperate world, with a climate of average temperatures. It is a Vargr dominated Non-Aligned world in the Dzighkafe Subsector of Knoellighz Sector.
- This system hosts a Naval Base for support of military starships.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)
- Ga (Garden World)
This world has stepped back from nuclear and even conventional warfare methods, but still Balkanized to use minor slug throwers, projectiles (bows and crossbows), melee weapons, stun weapons and natural weapons to settle conflicts between nations and shifting territories. This is done to preserve the natural environment and Garden rating.
- Hi (High Population)
Reduced means of killing each other has swollen population to rating-9 and has given rise to social issues.
- In (Industrial World)
Positioned in the high mountains, the cities, mines, refineries (taking the space the mines left hollow), factories and other mecca has given rise to the industrial output and export of the various nations on each continent.
- Balkanized Government
Splintered by their balkanization, the continents, underground warrens and seas are each ruled by nations not necessarily peaceful through the years. Each nation occupies high ranges of mountains, adjacent subterranean complexes and undersea mounts.
- 7 Law (Shotguns prohibited)
To keep from arms races, the world’s balkanized governments have kept a Weapon Reduction Intercontinental Treaty (WRIT) to limit the damage wars can do to the environment.
- 6 Tech (Nuclear power)
Able to launch dangerous fission wastes into space, the world has a 20th century, pre-Information Age technology base. Each nation is fully aware of the Highport Embassy and Naval Base in orbit whose ambassadors visit the surface nations individually.
- Standard, tainted atmosphere
- 9 billion population
- Size 7 (11,200km)
- Highport and adjacent Naval Base (embassy from 1702)
- Space capable, minor shuttles and capsule craft visits Highport above world
1 Planetoid Belt, mined with permission from world’s prime government and taxed accordingly
This world is a well-preserved Garden world that is remarkable that it also gently suffers a high population contributing to the industrial regions contained in the planetary mountain regions. By roping off high mountains and their subterranean caverns for metropolitan use has miraculously seen minimal damage to the terrestrial environment. Yet, the world's atmosphere is tainted from pollution to which the citizens are beginning to fully lobby for protection as well. Lush and pristine, the lowlands continue to be ideal for careful planning between mountain ranges and their city-capped heights.
History & Background (Dossier)
EGHUEKARORRG is found with in Dzighkafe subsector of Knoellighz Sector of the Vargr Extents.
History-era: Hard Times
Hard Times: The planet maintains its innocent beauty from initial colonization until Hard Times when economical pressures on this frontier world cause an erosion of the Law level from 7 to 6 as the population begins to take advantage of the planet in a need for survival. Crime rises during this period as does the methods of weapon use. It is also during this time that the population gains another billion immigrants from other worlds who are fleeing from Failing or Doomed worlds.
History-era: New Era
New Era: This world and solar system becomes a gem of a claim by the Democracy of Greats in that it is part of a huge Jump-1 main that the Democracy of Greats comes to call the "Gateway into Goekhnael". Yet, even as the Democracy of Greats slowly and surely annexes the main, they are followed by Virus and its vampire fleets. Soon the planet is cut off from other worlds and left to defend itself against infection. Mercifully, the bombardment of infected vessels destroys only the high peaks and mountainsides where the populations are concentrated. This inadvertent oversight of the vampires allows the planet to keep its Garden rating. Seaborn nations manage to hide their underwater city-states from orbital bombardment, saving many of the ocean nations from destruction. The entirety of Dzighkafe joins the Wilds during these disconnected years.
