Bountiful is an agricultural world with a tainted atmosphere but still a near-ideal environment for producing foodstuffs. The system supports a population of tens of millions of sophonts. It is a member of Third Imperium in the Sapphyre Subsector of Dagudashaag Sector and in the Domain of Vland. Bountiful, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial knight and the feifdoms of a baron and a marquis. All three are members of the Imperial Nobility charged with overseeing the world. During the Long Night this world was named Uukkasi.

History and background[edit]

Records from the First Imperium show that this world had an Ancients site.

Bountiful is a pleasant agricultural world that is a major producer of fine quality exotic fruit. One of its more famous varieties is the Khaguu, which resembles the Terran melon in both taste and texture.

The hallucinogenic drug Yahg is derived from another species, the Broadleaf. Although the possession and cultivation of this species is illegal, it plays an important role in Bountful's ecology and is protected. Refining Broadleat into Yahg is a fairly simple process and it is believed that many local's run cottage industries manufacturing the drug. The government does its best to control the Yahg trade, mostly by military operations against major manufacturing site, but is hampered by corruption, off-world interests, and the backward local technology.
