Era: New Era

Ainzaia is a non-agricultural and nonindustrial world.

  • It requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society.
  • It is unable to produce quality foodstuffs and must import them.
  • It has few prospects for economic development. Life here is drastically bleak. This world is designated an Amber Zone with an environment, laws, customs, life forms, or other conditions make it dangerous to visitors. This world is a satellite of a gas giant or another planet in the system. It is a member of Zhodani Consulate in the Jewell Subsector of Spinward Marches Sector and in the Province of Iadr Nsobl. This world is an Interface world, with a quarantine inspection facility for all ships. 10% of the world's population is the Major Race Vargr.

Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]

The mainworld is a moon orbiting Ao-dai Prime, a planet reduced to barren rock during the Ancients' war. As a result of the Ancient assault, most of Ao-dai Prime's atmosphere was blown off. A portion of this atmosphere was gathered by its moon, giving it a thin nitrogen-oxygen atmosphere and about 8% coverage of surface ice. The population lives in deep craters created by the asteroid bombardment.
