The Akumid Subsector is defended by 87th Fleet.

Subsector Summary: 1116[edit]

Akumid, subsector J of Vland has 17 worlds, of which 12 have native gas giants. The estimated population for the subsector is 38 billion sophonts (not necessarily humans). There are two High population (Hi) worlds, two Moderate population (Ph) worlds, nine Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, three Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. There are no Agricultural (Ag) worlds versus one Pre-Agricultural (Pa) world, and two Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds. There is one Rich (Ri) world versus one Industrial (In) world. There are no Asteroid (As) belts, no Desert (De) worlds, one Garden (Ga) world, no Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, four Poor (Po) worlds, no Vacuum (Va) worlds, and no Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds. There are two Naval bases in the subsector, six Scout bases, and no Way stations. In Akumid there is one race homeworld. The Imperial nobility includes 17 Knights, one Baronet, one Baron, one Marquis, two Viscounts, two Counts, no Dukes, and one Subsector Duke. The highest population world is Apurshish (Vland 1028).
